His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste then proceeded to Baitul Mesyuarah for a Bilateral Meeting. During the Bilateral Meeting, the two leaders further discussed bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

His Majesty in the titah says Brunei Darussalam consistently supports the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste's membership in ASEAN and will continue to offer the best possible assistance.

His Excellency, in his speech, appreciated the warm hospitality provided during the official visit.
